Yamal has been enjoying himself during his time off this summer, whizzing around the globe and meeting stars like Neymar after a stunning season with Barcelona where he helped the Catalan giants win a domestic treble. He is admired around the world and has now received a diamond-encrusted necklace from Dominican singer El Alfa.

The singer asserted it was 'The best piece for the best footballer in the world', showing just how highly regarded Yamal has become in the world of football since his astonishing breakout. The item was designed by Victor Rodriguez, who is one of the most famous jewellers on the planet and founded the Tajia Diamonds store in New York.

Yamal already has quite a large collection of bling thanks to Barcelona and Spain's recent successes. La Blaugrana won La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de Espana last season, while the teenager was also a key part of the Spain side that emerged victorious at Euro 2024.

Once his luxurious summer comes to an end, it'll be back to work for Yamal as Barcelona head to Asia for pre-season friendlies against Vissel Kobe, FC Seoul and Daegu FC later in July.
