Ansu Fati told to look for a new team as Barcelona decide to sell winger after arrival of Dani Olmo and potential Nico Williams signing

Per Sport, Barcelona have told Fati that he must find a new club as he has no future under manager Hansi Flick. Fati has struggled with a recurring injury, plantar fasciitis, and that, coupled with his large wages, have made him expendable.

Fati has a contract with Barcelona until 2027 and has clocked 112 appearances for the club. Still, the signing of Dani Olmo and the potential acquisition of Nico Williams means there simply isn't space for Fati to stay at the club.

Fati has also won 10 caps for Spain but he struggled on loan at Brighton last season, making 27 appearances, of which just three were Premier League starts.

Barcelona kick off the new La Liga season against Valencia this weekend as they bid to challenge at the top of the Spanish top flight once again.
