Alisha Lehmann reveals her most famous follower on social media as Juventus & Switzerland forward explains why rap superstar Cardi B left her screaming

The Switzerland international, who is now on the books of Italian giants Juventus, has become as famous for her life off the pitch as she is for her efforts on it. Lehmann now boasts a global fan base that eclipses many of her colleagues.

She has 16.5 million followers on Instagram and 11.8m over on TikTok. Posts on those platforms allow fans to get a glimpse at Lehmann’s personal life, as well as her professional endeavours.

Lehmann insists that she will never allow herself to get caught up in the celebrity lifestyle, as her focus remains locked on football commitments, but her profile continues to soar - and that has attracted A-list interest.

Speaking on the @Small Talk podcast from Juventus’ official YouTube channel, Lehmann said of gaining a surprising follower that left her starstruck: “I like rap. My favourite rapper is Cardi B. I love her. Since I was 16 years old, I love her. You know what happened? She started following me on Instagram and I screamed!”

Lehmann added when asked to pick out her most famous follower: “Probably Drake. But when Cardi B followed me, I was gassed. I had to delete everything where I’d tagged her in my stories. I deleted everything. I was like, please, I hope she didn’t see!”

While having cause for celebration away from the field, Lehmann has also been enjoying considerable success on it of late. She has savoured Serie A title glory during her debut season with Juventus, having left WSL side Aston Villa for a new challenge in Italy during the summer of 2024.
