'Not too late' - League Two's AFC Wimbledon post cheeky plea to Jamal Musiala after Germany sensation stars in Euro 2024 win against Scotland

Musiala took centre stage during Germany's 5-1 win over Scotland at Euro 2024 on Friday night. The 21-year-old has also enjoyed an impressive campaign with Bayern Munich and is regarded as one of the top young talents in the world. However, League Two side AFC Wimbledon posted a hilarious video on X of Musiala balling out for the club when he was younger and were very clear that he could come back any time he liked.

On X, Wimbledon captioned their post: "It’s not too late to come back @JamalMusiala 😉."

Musiala's journey to the top has taken him from Southampton to Chelsea and now to Bayern but before all of that, he was putting in a shift with the lower league clubs. He even represented England up until Under-21 level but changed his allegiance to Germany instead. So far, that move is paying off as Julian Nagelsmann's team looks on incredible form with Musiala at the heart of their attacking plays.

After their storming start at their home tournament, Germany must now prepare to face Hungary on 19 June. It will be a tough match but should they win, it will all but guarantee their safe passage through to the knockout rounds. Musiala scored against Scotland and will be hoping to keep his prolific form up for the entire tournament.
