The USMNT star picked up the ball on the touchline on the right side of the attack before he dragged Leandro Spinazzola out of position to the left side of the attack. After dropping off the Italian with a drop of the shoulder, he ventured into the box and went past Rasmus Kristensen before unleashing a shot at Mile Svilar's goal. The win was an important one for Stefano Pioli's side as it allowed them to keep up with the inform runaway league leaders, Inter Milan. The Rossoneri currently sit third in the league with 42 points, four points behind Juventus and nine points behind the league leader. As for Jose Mourniho's side, the loss compounded the Portuguese coach's headache as they have now gone winless in three straight games and sit ninth in the league, 13 points off the Champions League spots.

The USMNT star has been a hit at San Siro after his move from Valencia in the summer. He will next be in action when Pioli's side travel to Udinese on Saturday, January 21 for a Serie A clash.
