Correcaminos de la UAT II Overview

The Buccaneers head coach has expressed his readiness for the upcoming MTN8 final. The French-Moroccan tactician is aiming to secure the first piece of silverware for the 2026/27 season as Pirates look to retain their crown in Durban.

The 28-year-old midfielder has now spoken about the interest he received from Mzansi's two biggest clubs. The former Mamelodi Sundowns star has explained why he ultimately chose the black and white of Buccaneers over the Glamour Boys, offering insight into what shaped his decision at the time.

The Glamour Boys' habit of settling for a share of the spoils has become a concern as the Soweto giants look to keep pace with the teams leading the Betway Premiership. Amakhosi legend Neil Tovey has called for patience with the head coach, but believes the Naturena-based team must start turning draws into wins if they are to stay in the title conversation.

Amakhosi have been handed a significant injury concern after young attacker Luke Baartman was forced off during South Africa U23’s international friendly against Algeria. The promising forward was unable to complete the first half, adding to the growing list of fitness worries for the Glamour Boys medical staff.
