    Throughout Euro 2024, Yamal has been setting the stage alight for Spain and at the age of just 16 years old, the Barcelona youngster has matched a European Championship record held by the likes of Cesc Fabregas, David Silva and Dani Olmo. As per OptaJose, Yamal garnered his third assist of the tournament, the most in a single European Championship tournament by a Spaniard.

    Yamal has been having possibly the best season by a teenager in the 21st century and the 16-year-old has already racked up over 50 appearances for Barcelona and Spain in his first full professional season. His performances with the Blaugrana made it difficult for Luis de la Fuente to ignore as he became the youngest player to play in the Euros.
