Manchester United are reportedly exploring a shock swoop for Manchester City and Lionesses midfielder Jess Park before the summer transfer window closes on Thursday. Park made her professional debut at the age of 18 at City and has spent the last eight years at Etihad Stadium. United's interest in Park comes just days after news broke about City's pursuit of their star midfielder Grace Clinton.
Women's Super League teams will continue to take the knee following the Jess Carter racism row during the 2025 European Championship. In July, Carter took to social media to outline the abuse she had received during the tournament and announced her intention to step back from online platforms. Portland Thorns have completed the signing of Arsenal sensation Laila Harbert on a short-term loan deal that will be valid until January. The 18-year-old midfielder, who signed her first professional contract with the Gunners in January 2025, spent the second half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Southampton. Harbert has been part of the Gunners' youth system since the age of nine.

England star Michelle Agyemang has returned to Brighton from Arsenal for her second consecutive loan spell. The 19-year-old English forward graduated from Arsenal's youth system and made her senior debut for the Gunners in 2022. Since the summer of 2023, the teenager has been out on loan, first at Watford and then Brighton.

The prolific Jamaican forward, who has worn number 21 since joining City in the summer of 2021, will now carry a shirt number steeped in the club’s history.
