WHAT HAPPENED?
The Red Dragons and Blues, who both have famous investors in their respective boardrooms, find themselves in the same division after heading in opposite directions at the end of last season. Back-to-back promotions have lifted Wrexham into League One, while Birmingham have slipped into the third tier of English football for the first time since 1995.

McElhenney has reiterated a desire to take in a game alongside NFL great Brady in the upcoming campaign, with Wrexham seeing dates with Birmingham lined up for September 16 at SToK Racecourse and January 24, 2025 in the West Midlands.
