World Cup Odds: England 12/1 to go all the way in Russia after Tunisia win

England missed a number of presentable chances but emerged from their clash against Tunisia with a Group G win that should settle the nerves of a young squad.

Captain Harry Kane put Gareth Southgate's side in front early but the Three Lions were pegged back by Ferjani Sassi penalty before the break after Kyle Walker was penalised in the area.

There was VAR controversy after Kane appeared to be wrestled to the ground on two occasions from set pieces but no action was taken by the officials.

The pre-match favourites laboured at times after the break but eventually got the goal they were looking for when Harry Maguire teed up his captain from an injury time corner and Kane obliged by nodding the ball home.

Having opened his account at the first time of asking with two vital goals the Tottenham frontman is now 6/1 (7.0) to be the tournament's leading scorer.

dabblebet now make England 12/1 (13.0) to win the World Cup in their latest outright betting but the big movers on the day were Belgium. The Red Devils were cut from 10/1 (11.0) into 8/1 (9.00) to be crowned world champions.

Having been frustrated in the first half against Panama, Roberto Martinez's men plundered three goals in the second 45 minutes with two coming courtesy of Romelu Lukaku who took full advantage of a tiring defence.

The Manchester United striker is now 4/1 (5.0) to win the Golden Boot in Russia with only Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the 25-year-old in the betting at 9/5 (2.80) after his hat-trick against Spain.

With several big teams including Germany, Argentina and Brazil all dropping points in their opening game, it certainly looks a wide open betting heat. The Selecao remain frontrunners with dabblebet though, priced at 4/1 (5.0).
