FC Robo secured their first silverware of the season after defeating rivals Young Talents 99 2-0 in the Lagos Women FA Cup final.
First half double from Rasheedat Ajibade powered Emmanuel Osahon’s side to the title against the opposition they beat to win the 2017 edition.
A 20-yard free-kick from the youngster put here side ahead in the opening minutes of the cracker played at the Agege Stadium.
Her ferocious volley a few minutes later handed her side a two-goal lead as they took the scoreline into the halftime break.
In the second half, both teams came out strongly but were unable to get more goals – though FC Robo missed several clear-cut chances.
Both teams will represent Lagos State in this year’s Federations Cup to commence later this year.
