Osun vs Oyo

Progress Comprehensive High School, Osun will hope they can stretch their winning run to two games when they battle Brightville College, Oyo in their second 2017 Copa Coca Cola regional finals match at the Aquinas College, Akure on Friday.

The boys from Modakeke kicked off their campaign on Thursday with a 1-0 win over Niger College, Edo, courtesy of Akinlabi Adewale’s first half goal, and they will be looking consolidate their position on the table to stand a chance of representing their region at the national finals.

Meanwhile, the boys from Ibadan will also be hoping they can hurt their opponent by claiming their first victory after playing 0-0 against Government Day Secondary School, Kogi in their opener on Thursday.

Delta vs Edo

Urhobo College, Delta and Niger College, Edo lock horns at the Aquinas College, Akure on match day two of the Copa Coca Cola U15 championship on Friday.

The boys from Benin have already lost their first game to Progress Comprehensive High School, Osun in a match that was decided by a lone goal from Akinlabi Adewale at the nick of the whistle in the first half, and they will hope they can redeem themselves by claiming their first victory in that encounter.

Though, the boys from Delta were on holidays in the first day, they will need to work hard against coach Ogieriakhi Austin boys, who were shy in front of goal in their first game.

Kogi vs Delta

Government Day Secondary School, Kogi will play their second game at the regional level against Urhobo College Delta on Thursday.

The Kogi boys got their campaign to a shaky start as they were unable to pick maximum point against their counterpart from Oyo state, and they will be hoping they convert their chances in their second outing at the Akure center of the Copa Coca Cola regional finals on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Delta boys look more dangerous as no team at the Akure region has seen them play, so they use that advantage over their foes in Friday’s encounter.

Oyo vs Edo

Brightville College, Oyo battle Niger College, Edo in the last game of the day at the Aquinas College, Akure.

The boys from Ibadan picked one point from their opener against Government Day Secondary School, Kogi on Thursday and they will be hoping they can build on their performance to inch closer to picking the national finals ticket in the 2017 Copa Coca Cola championship.

Both sides failed to score in their first game, and they will hope they convert all the chances they create in their game on Friday to hand their teams maximum point in the game.
