Mexico national team coach Juan Carlos Osorio has finalized his roster for upcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Honduras and the United States.

Europe-based players star for El Tri

After cutting Leon midfielder Elias Hernandez, Pachcua midfielder Erick Gutierrez and Pachuca defender Raul "Dedos" Lopez following Thursday's 3-1 victory over the Republic of Ireland, El Tri have narrowed down their preliminary roster to 29.

Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez and Carlos Vela headline the team that will face a pair of home qualifiers against two of the strongest CONCACAF sides, while players like Nestor Araujo and Jurgen Damm who are nursing injuries made the cut.

Mexico will host Honduras on June 8 followed by the U.S. on June 11 at Estadio Azteca.

El Tri are currently sitting at the top of the Hexagonal standings, having won three and drawn one in the final round of qualifying.
