Fulham complete last minute Markovic signing

Fulham have announced the signing of Lazar Markovic on a free transfer from Liverpool until the end of the season.

The winger will join the London club on a free transfer on a contract that is through the end of the season.

A Fulham club statement read: "Fulham received very good recommendations from Aleksandar Mitrović regarding the player."

Crystal Palace sign Batshuayi on loan from Chelsea

Crystal Palace have struck a deadline-day coup as the Eagles snapped up Chelsea's Michy Batshuayi on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The striker had been looking for a way out of his failed loan at Valencia, with Chelsea even talking to rivals Tottenham over a potential deal.

Batshuayi will remain in London, but will do so with Crystal Palace, rather than Spurs, as he looks to revive his career in the Premier League.

Fulham's Sabaly move falls through

Fulham's transfer for Youssouf Sabaly has fallen through despite the club meeting the full-back's £12 million release clause for Bordeaux, reports Sky Sports.

The London club not only met the fee but conducted a successful medical with the player with four hours to go before the window closed, but Bordeaux did not answer repeated attempts by Fulham to contact them.

While Sabaly may have a claim against Bordeaux for breaching contract, Fulham will not be able to land their desired target this window.

The England international has seen his future called into question on a regular basis since establishing himself as one of the most prolific strikers in world football.

Waddle stated: “Harry Kane won't leave Tottenham this summer, but his head will eventually turn towards winning trophies.
