The 18-year-old Dutch defender, nephew of former Barca defender Winston Bogarde, has been linked with a number of top European clubs and is thought to be highly rated by Ronald Koeman.

New York Red Bulls announce roster decisions


New York Red Bulls have announced their end-of-year roster decisions following the end of the 2020 season.

The Red Bulls exercised options on defenders Kyle Duncan and Sean Nealis, midfielders Sean Davis, Kaku, Jared Stroud, Daniel Royer and Florian Valot, as well as forward Tom Barlow.

New York declined options on defender Patrick Seagrist, midfielders Chris Lema, Ben Mines and Marc Rzatkowski.

The club declined an option to purchase forward Samuel Tetteh, and goalkeeper Kendall McIntosh is out of contract.

Muller, Boateng & Hummels could return for Germany


Veteran trio Thomas Muller, Jerome Boateng and Mats Hummels could return to the international scene with Germany, according to SPORT1.

It is claimed Joachim Low is more open to the idea of them returning than in the past, and it was discussed in a meeting with the DFB on Monday.

Houston Dynamo have exercised their option to buy Ariel Lassiter, according to ESPN’s Glenn Davis.

The forward joined the MLS club on loan from Alajuelense, and will seemingly be staying for the 2021 season.

Real Salt Lake have annouced their retained list for 2021.

The MLS club exercised options on David Ochoa, Justen Glad, Erik Holt, Everton Luiz, Justin Portillo, Maikel Chang, Douglas Martinez and Tate Schmitt.

Manchester United could miss out on reported transfer target Hakan Calhanoglu, according to CalcioMercato.

The Turkey international had been said to be highly likely to join United before the start of next season, with his contract at Milan set to expire.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he made the decision to sign Diogo Jota after seeing the Portuguese forward take in just one game for Wolves.

Origi backed for Leeds move


Kevin Phillips believes Divock Origi should leave Liverpool with Leeds United a good option. 

“I would imagine Origi will leave in January but if not it will definitely be the summer," Phillips told Football Insider.

“A fresh challenge for him would be best and I am sure there will be a queue of clubs looking to sign him if he is made available.
