Kenya U-23 squad hit camp in readiness for Mauritius tie in Afcon qualifiers

The National U-23 football team reported to camp on Sunday in preparations for the forthcoming Africa U23 Cup of Nations Qualifier against Mauritius. 

Captain Joseph Okumu, who plays for Real Monarchs in the United States, is among those who showed up. Four other foreign-based players led by Ovella Ochieng, Henry Ochieng, Jonah Ayunga and Alwyn Tera are expected later on.

The match against the South African nation will be played on November 14th at the MISC Kasarani from 4 PM. The aggregate winner will face either Sudan or Seychelles in the second round.

The finals will be held in Egypt next year with the winner getting an automatic ticket in the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Tickets prices are already out, VIP ones will go Sh500 while regular ones will be sold at Sh100.
