Shitiabayi has told Goal that the ruling is the best the country was expecting asserting that if the body continues with the same focus, Kenya will finally never experience any football wrangles.

“We are happy of the ruling and we really appreciate their contribution towards healthy sporting behavior in Kenya. Such ruling is a landmark in football and the tribunal has shown interest in Kenyan football and we anticipate that if they continue with the same spirit then the football wrangles are going to end.”

The league fixture is now complete and the two clubs will have their first matches on Sunday. The Awasi-based side (Muhoroni Youth) will host Kariobangi Sharks while the Batoto ba Mungu (Sofapaka) travel to play Sony Sugar at Afraha Stadium.
