Fans' Asian Player of the Week: Shanghai SIPG's Hulk

Shanghai SIPG's forward Hulk has been chosen as last week's Fans' Asian Player of the Week, following his impressive performance in his team's 3-2 win over Jiangsu Suning in the second leg of their Round of 16 clash last week.

Hulk was in typically bullish form, powering his way through to score a goal and set up another for Elkeson as Andre Villas-Boas' side eased into the quarterfinals. He was rightly chosen as Goal's Player of the Week as well.

Also in the fray for the honour were Kawasaki Frontale midfielder Yu Kobayashi and Al Ain Omar Abdulrahman who was named as the Toyota Player of the Week - both of whom were impressive in their respective teams' games this past week.

The fans were torn between Omar Abdulrahman and Hulk with the latter receiving 50% of the votes while the Al Ain star polled 45% of the votes. Kobayashi remained a distant third with just 5% votes to his name.

Congrats Hulk!
