Eymael stopped from coaching Bloemfontein Celtic

New Bloemfontein Celtic head coach Luc Eymael will not take charge of his first game when Siwelele host Cape Town City on Saturday evening.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) encounter is scheduled to take place at the Dr Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.

Eymael, who recently surprisingly left PSL top eight hopefuls Polokwane City for struggling Celtic, has received his work permit.

However, Polokwane lodged a complaint with the PSL and the organisation ruled in their favour.

The case between Polokwane and Eymael has been postponed to 30 March. After facing City, Siwelele's next game will be against Polokwane on April 1.

The Belgian tactician is likely to be assisted by former Lesotho captain Lehlohonolo Seema, who had been in charge of the Siwelele as a co-coach.

Malawi legend John Maduka, who has been serving as a co-coach, is expected to continue serving as the Celtic team manager.

Celtic are currently placed 13th on the league table - a point above the relegation zone, Eymael will look to guide the team further away from bottom two positions.

A victory over City, will see Siwelele move closer to closer to bottom-half placed teams, Orlando Pirates and Chippa United.

Pirates and Chippa, who are currently placed ninth and 11th respectively on the log, will not be in action this weekend.
