EXTRA TIME: South African's tribute to former Chippa United coach Roger Sikhakhane

Having recently coached Royal Eagles, the mentor was allowed sick leave just four matches into the season

Sikhakhane was a former Premier Soccer League coach and most recently was in charge of NFD side Royal Eagles.

He was assisted by former Crystal Palace midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi, as well as Sazi Ngubani who were both filling in when the head coach couldn't continue.

He had previously promoted Thanda Royal Zulu into the PSL, and was trying to do the same with Royal Eagles.

The South African made a name for himself as Vladislav Heric's assistant when they won the NFD back in the 2013-14 season.

You can read the country's tribute to him on Twitter below. On behalf of Goal we send out our prayers to the club, family and friends of Roger Sikhakhane. Rest in peace.
