Courtois makes 50th Belgium appearance against Greece

The shot-stopper needed less than six years to reach the half-century, and will be looking to mark the occasion with another step towards Russia

Thibaut Courtois made his 50th appearance for Belgium as the Red Devils continue their World Cup quest away to Greece on Sunday.

In his 49 previous appearances, the ex-Atletico Madrid star conceded just 34 goals, keeping a total of 25 clean sheets.

He was ever-present for his nation in the 2014 World Cup, where they were knocked out in the quarter-finals at the hands of Argentina, and at Euro 2016, where the Red Devils' quest for glory ended at the same stage, this time going down to Wales.
