AFC Leopards to fans: Be patient and we will deliver

AFC Leopards has not been on its best form of late, failing to win eight matches in a row.

The latest setback was witnessed on Saturday when the twelve-time league champions failed to hold onto their first half 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Nakumatt. Captain Duncan Otieno has urged the fans to support the team in this difficult time.

“It hurts the way we are conceding and losing points but we are working as a team to put that to a stop. I am positive, we are soon going to start winning games convincingly and challenge for trophies especially the championship, it is not too late.

“One cannot afford to abandon his house when on fire, as players we are working hard and soon we are going to start winning matches. To our fans, please be patient,” Otieno told Goal.

The team is currently placed sixth on the log with twenty points after fifteen matches.
