Real Madrid are always linked with star players as Los Blancos' strong financial and sporting position has always helped them target top performers from other clubs. As such, <a href="https://www.fichajes.net/noticias/real-madrid-fija-defensa-estrella-premier-league-20240907.html" target="_blank">Spanish publication Fichajes</a> has reported they are now said to be interested in Saliba, who has had two strong seasons with Arsenal.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Saliba has formed a superb partnership with Gabriel Magalhaes at Arsenal under Mikel Arteta and the Gunners will not be very keen to lose out on the highly-rated 23-year-old, who has a contract with the North London side until 2027.

Real Madrid reportedly sent scouts to watch Saliba during Arsenal's 2-0 win over Aston Villa as they look to further understand whether the Frenchman would fit into the squad.
