The USMNT star has enjoyed a reversal in personal fortune with the Serie A giants this season, with the slate being wiped clean for him in Turin following a forgettable loan spell in 2022-23 that saw him suffer relegation out of the Premier League at Leeds.

The charismatic 25-year-old has flourished with Juve this season, becoming a popular figure in the Bianconeri camp with his infectious energy – as a smile is never far from his face. He does, however, appear to have picked up a reputation for being a little chaotic off the field.

Quizzed by Juve’s social media team to pick out the most “disorganised” member of Massimiliano Allegri’s squad, McKennie collected six votes. Only Moise Kean, on eight, polled more. McKennie said when offering his own opinion, and being informed that plenty of team-mates had mentioned him: “Got to be my boy Moise, for sure. Me? That’s impossible!”

Juve have moved up to second in the Serie A table, two points adrift of leaders Inter, and will be back in action on Sunday when taking in a trip to Lecce. McKennie will be hoping to make his 21st appearance of the season in that contest.
