Roque joined Barca early in 2024
Is yet to be given a chance in Spain
Exploring moves away this summer
WHAT HAPPENED?
The 19-year-old has been constantly linked with a move away from Barcelona despite only joining in January 2024 for just under €30million (£25.5m/$32.7m). But reports suggest Roque has rejected a second approach from Saudi Arabia as he seeks alternative options this summer.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Roque has been approached by SPL side Al-Hilal, last season's champions. Had the Barcelona forward accepted a move, he would have linked up with Neymar and Ruben Neves, two players who would provide excellent service to him in the final third. It is likely that Roque is holding out for an offer from another European side or a promise from Barca boss Hansi Flick that he will get more minutes on the pitch this term.
DID YOU KNOW?
Roque played just 16 times for Barcelona in 2023-24, starting only twice in La Liga. He did manage to score twice despite his limited minutes and they came in consecutive games against Osasuna and Alaves.

Roque is contracted at the Camp Nou until 2031 so finds himself in a difficult position this summer. Barcelona are likely keen for a significant fee from any interested party so the young striker may instead have to settle for a loan deal, if he is still going to be snubbed by the new head coach.
