'Too much ego' - Antony & Jadon Sancho accused of 'disrespecting' Man Utd as enigmatic duo told they have no future at Old Trafford

Sancho left United in January 2024 on a short-term loan deal to Borussia Dortmund after a public fallout with then-manager Erik ten Hag. He was once again shipped out on loan to Chelsea last summer, who have an obligation to buy him permanently at the end of the 2024-25 campaign. Antony and Marcus Rashford also left Old Trafford in the last January window to join Real Betis and Aston Villa, respectively, on loan.

All three players could yet return to Old Trafford in the summer, however, Saha believes Rashford is the only one who would be welcomed back with open arms. The former Red Devils star doesn't think Antony and Sancho have any future at United and has accused the duo of being disrespectful to the institution.

Speaking to Genting Casino, Saha said: "Rashford, yes. I don't think Antony. I don't know if it's true or not, but what he said and what he's done, with the lack of respect, I don't see love. So I don't think it’s likely. It's the same for Sancho. The kind of problem a manager has is that you have to actually maintain a team focus, you need those two or three players to come and really engage the right way, approach their game the right way, not for only one or two months.

"They really have to understand what has been done here for the time that they were not there. So I doubt they stay because when they had the opportunity in the camp, it was too much ego or not enough adaptation. People need to adapt to a situation."

Ruben Amorim's United side will be back in action on April 1 as they take on third-placed Nottingham Forest away from home in an important Premier League fixture.
