Sunderland's stance on Jobe Bellingham's future revealed after star midfielder jets out to Germany for transfer talks with Bundesliga club

Bellingham does not appear short of offers this summer after helping Sunderland secure promotion to the Premier League. The midfielder has jetted out to Germany for talks with Eintracht Frankfurt and has also attracted interest from RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund.

Despite the interest from Germany, Sunderland owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus remains "determined" to hold of Bellingham, according to the Guardian's Ed Aarons. Talks may have taken places with other clubs but it's still not known if the Black Cats will sanction a sale following the club's promotion to the English top flight. Bellingham is contracted to Sunderland until the end of the 2027-28 season.

The Bellingham brothers made history at the 2025 EFL Awards. Jobe won the award for Championship Young Player of the Year, five years after Jude claimed the trophy. It's the first time two brothers have picked up the same award.

Bellingham has been spotted partying in Ibiza with big brother Jude after victory over Sheffield United in the Championship play-off final. The midfielder is enjoying some well-deserved time off before making a big decision on his future this summer.
