WHAT HAPPENED?
The Herons formed part of the ongoing MLS expansion efforts when making their competitive bow in March 2020. They have only been competing on that stage for a little over four years, but have come a long way in a short space of time – with Manchester United and England legend Beckham forming part of their ownership group.
The record books continue to be rewritten at Chase Stadium, with American goalkeeper Callender and Finnish midfielder Taylor becoming the first Inter Miami centurions. Beckham has paid homage to those achievements by posting on Instagram: “A very special night as we celebrate our first centurions. Congratulations Robert Taylor and Drake Callender.”
