Bayern Munich are showing significant interest in Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes, whose agent recently met with several top European clubs.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The fact that Fernandes' agent Miguel Pinho met with European clubs last week could mean nothing for the 29-year-old's future. Pinho does, after all, represent several players, and Fabrizio Romano has reiterated that the midfielder wants to stay at United.
However, the new regime at Old Trafford have already established their 'unsellable' players - and Fernandes doesn't feature on the list. So a decent offer could certainly turn heads in Manchester.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Fernandes' importance to United can't be overstated. The 29-year-old scored 15 goals and provided 13 assists in 2023-24, and set up Kobbie Mainoo to score in their FA Cup final over Manchester City.
Bayern could throw a spanner in the works by pursuing Fernandes. According to Stretty News, the Bavarians have identified the midfielder as one of their key summer transfer targets as new head coach Vincent Kompany seeks to improve his squad following a trophyless campaign.

The midfielder will line up alongside Cristiano Ronaldo as Roberto Martinez's side attempt to repeat their heroics of 2016.
