‘You’re pretty good’ – USMNT star Christian Pulisic avoids disaster when flopping trick shot over the head of golf pro girlfriend Alexa Melton

Golf pro Melton did not look entirely comfortable as she positioned herself on a riverside green and allowed Pulisic to pick up a wedge. She was, however, prepared to put herself in the firing line as her United States international beau lined up a lofted chip.

Pulisic has pulled off said stunt before, with a ball being flicked over the head of his father during one visit to the golf course. The AC Milan forward was clearly confident that he could repeat the trick as he displayed no sign of nerves when lining up another shot – unlike his slightly terrified partner.

Any drama was avoided as Pulisic calmly floated the ball over Melton, with plenty of clearance achieved through the air. Melton removed her hands from her face and jumped around in delight after avoiding taking a golf ball to the face. She included a “you’re pretty good at golf” caption alongside the video that she has shared on social media.

Pulisic and Melton went public with their relationship at the 2024 Women’s US Open. They have spent plenty of time together since then – with sun-soaked holidays taken in over the summer – and have been celebrating Pulisic turning 26 on September 18.
