Lionel Messi is addicted to pink! Argentina superstar dons Inter Miami colours for New Year celebration pictures alongside Antonela Roccuzzo and their three sons

The Argentine icon has spent the Christmas and New Year period back in his homeland. With the first extended winter break of his remarkable career being taken in – on the back of moving to the United States in 2023 – Messi has been spending quality time with friends and family.

He will soon be making the trip from South to North America, as Inter Miami ready themselves for the start of the 2024 MLS season – but for now the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner is making the most of an opportunity to relax alongside his partner and their three sons.

Messi has, however, kept the Miami theme going with his choice of attire at the start of a new calendar year, with the 36-year-old seemingly a big fan of the pink palette that he dons on a regular basis when turning out at club level.

Inter Miami have high-profile friendlies against the likes of Newell’s Old Boys – Messi’s first club – and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr to look forward to over the coming weeks, before then opening another quest for glory in a 2024 campaign that will see Luis Suarez reunited with a number of familiar faces at DRV PNK Stadium.
