    WHAT HAPPENED?

    Mbappe had been linked with a dream move to Real Madrid ever since his rise to fame in 2018. While he constantly had links with the Spanish side, it was in 2022 that he was the most heavily linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu. However, Mbappe turned the move down as he signed a new two-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

    Real Madrid fans were left very miffed in 2022 with the Frenchman and immediately took shots at the lack of a Champions League trophy in his list of honours while Los Blancos themselves held 13 Champions League trophies at that point. As such, a fan had showcased a Paris Saint-Germain shirt that held Mbappe's name with Zero Champions League printed on it.

    Obviously, Mbappe has now made the long-awaited move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer and the same fan has now showcased a new message for the Frenchman. The fan was present at Mbappe's debut against Atalanta in the Super Cup.
