GettyTHE BIGGER PICTURE
The Bernabeu was brimming with an enthusiastic crowd, with an expected attendance of 85,000 fans, reminiscent of Ronaldo's record-breaking reception 15 years ago. In a nod to his football idol, Mbappe recreated Ronaldo's famous "uno, dos, tres, Hala Madrid!" signature salutation to the fans. This homage was not only a tribute to Ronaldo but also a statement of Mbappe's exalted admiration for the Portuguese talisman.
