Kaoru Mitoma salary: How much does Brighton star earn per week and annually in Premier League?

Kaoru Mitoma's new contract at Brighton provides him with a weekly salary of £80,000 ($105,703) and an annual salary of £4.1 million ($5.4m).

He is the third-highest paid player at Brighton.

Erling Haaland of Manchester City tops the list, having secured a nine-year contract that extends his stay at the Etihad until 2034. Following him is fellow City player Kevin De Bruyne, with Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah ranking third.

Casemiro represents Manchester United as their sole entry at fourth, while Liverpool's captain Virgil Van Dijk completes the list in fifth place.

Although Premier League salaries are high, these players are not among the top earners in global football.

The highest earner is Cristiano Ronaldo, the Champions League's all-time top scorer, currently playing for Al Nassr. He is followed by Karim Benzema, his former Real Madrid teammate.

Riyad Mahrez, formerly of Manchester City, ranks third, while Sadio Mane and Kalidou Koulibaly, both from Senegal, are fourth and fifth respectively.
