Jude Bellingham sends out upbeat message after bagging brace in Real Madrid win over Girona before hobbling off injured with ankle problem

Jude Bellingham has called on Real Madrid to remain focused on the challenge at hand as their 4-0 victory over Girona moves them five points clear.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Bellingham was imperious once again as he ran the show against Madrid's main title rivals, scoring twice and ensuring victory - including taking the ball around the goalkeeper from a fantastic Vinicius Junior assist. The English superstar did hobble off injured in the second-half but his message after the game appears to quash any fears he will miss any games through injury.

Posting on X, Bellingham said: "Nothing’s decided yet, we’ll keep pushing! 20 piece.🍗 #HalaMadrid 🤍"
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Bellingham is correct, nothing has been decided. But, his side's victory over Girona looks to have made Madrid champions-elect. Madrid were far superior throughout and it looks almost impossible to stop the Bellingham-led side from storming their way to the La Liga title. With 14 games left to play, it will take some effort from Girona to win an unlikely title.
