French goalkeeper makes 7 saves
WHAT HAPPENED?
The former Tottenham Hotspur ace debuted in front of a sold-out BMO Stadium, and ended his evening with chants of his name echoing across the ground. The 37-year-old, accompanied by a stupendous goal from striker Mateusz Bogus, helped lead the Black and Gold to an incredible - and important - early season victory over their Western Conference competitors.
The Frenchman tied ex-LAFC shotstopper Tyler Miller's club record, with seven saves on the day, helping the Black and Gold to victory. However, Lloris's heroics weren't the only reason the Los Angeles-based club snagged a victory Saturday.
