Harry Kane's secret is out! Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel reveals surprising dietary choice behind England captain's success in Bavaria ahead of crunch Champions League semi-final clash with Real Madrid

Bayern may not have won the Bundesliga title this season but there's no doubt Kane has taken the German top flight by storm, scoring 36 goals in just 32 games and breaking a host of records. The England captain can still win silverware this season with Bayern in the Champions League and is currently preparing for a semi-final second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Kane spent his early weeks at Bayern in a hotel in Munich where is was revealed the striker is fond of bacon and baked beans for breakfast. Speaking ahead of the match against Madrid, Tuchel has been asked what has surprised him about Kane's first season at the club and opened up on the striker's fondness for a frothy coffee.

He told reporters: "How many cappuccinos he drinks a day. Every time I go into the kitchen, he is there. It must be so good, I have started doing it. He looks healthy and in good shape.

"We got a big personality in our dressing-room on top of a goalscorer and someone with the ability to handle pressure. But we knew that. He is the captain of England. He has brought everything to the team that we could possibly have hoped for. [Against Real] he needs to prove the point and deliver.”

Tuchel will be hoping to guide Bayern to the Champions League final ahead of his exit from the club at the end of the season. The Bavarian giants will look to Kane for inspiration against Madrid at the Bernabeu. The scored a penalty in the first leg against Real Madrid and has eight goals and three assists in 11 Champions League outings this season.
