USA win 2024 CONCACAF Nations League
Reyna handed Golden Ball
Two assists and one goal in two games
WHAT HAPPENED?
Reyna was handed the Golden Ball after scoring the game-winner for the USMNT against Mexico Sunday evening, but his true heroics came in the semifinal against Jamaica, where he notched two assists in extra-time - both of which were for Haji Wright.
With only 39 minutes in the Premier League with Nottingham Forest since his January loan away from Borussia Dortmund, Reyna came into the U.S. camp out of form and lacking competitive minutes. However, he didn't play like it, and he likely certified his role as a part of the 23-man roster for this Summer's Copa America.
DID YOU KNOW?
Reyna has five goal contributions in three finals for the USMNT. That's two more than ANY other player in U.S. men's history.
