Agnelli used a part of the lyrics of the song 'Where the Streets Have No Name' by the famous Irish band U2 and posted it on his X account with the caption, "Fino alla fine," the Juventus motto that translates to 'Until the end.'

While being the president of Bianconeri, Agnelli was one of the pioneers behind the formation of the breakaway competition named the European Super League. He along with the top European clubs masterminded the tournament, although, several top clubs including all the Premier League giants withdrew their decision to take part in the competition amid massive backlash from fans. He resigned from his position as Juventus chief in November 2022.

Since the court's verdict came out, as of now, only La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid have stood firm on their ground on backing the rebel league while most of the top European clubs including the Premier League giants officially announced their solidarity with the UEFA as they decided not to join the Super League.
