Mother admits she went for the maximum
Forward can make free transfer in summer
WHAT HAPPENED?
Mbappe became one of the highest-paid athletes when he agreed to snub an offer from Real Madrid and accept a salary worth a reported €72 million (£62m/$79m) to extend his contract at PSG in 2022. The 25-year-old's representative, Fayza Lamari, defended their demands for the highest possible salary from the French giants.

WHAT FAYZA LAMARI SAID
Speaking to Envoye Special, she said: "There is no guilt, no shame. If we could have taken €10 billion (£9bn/$11bn), we would have taken it because it’s the system that demands it."
Mbappe is free to negotiate with other clubs over a free transfer in the summer and will be fielding offers from the likes of Madrid and Liverpool. The attacker insists he has not made a decision regarding his next move and it has been reported that he has agreed to make PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi the first person to be informed when he makes his mind up.
