Cristiano Ronaldo in brazen 'soccer' remark to Elon Musk after receiving congratulatory message from billionaire tech mogul for Al-Nassr AFC Champions League exploits

Musk was a surprise entry on the list of those to congratulate Ronaldo following his two-goal performance in Al-Nassr's win over Al-Gharafa in the AFC Champions League Elite on Monday. The Tesla owner wrote "Congrats!" in response to Ronaldo's post on Musk's X platform after the match.

Ronaldo scored twice in the 3-1 victory, which leaves Stefano Pioli's side on the brink of reaching the quarter-finals of the competition. It would appear his efforts left a mark on Musk, and the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has continued the conversation by replying to the tech billionaire.

"Glad your eyes have time for good 'soccer'," Ronaldo wrote, making a point of highlighting the U.S. terminology for football.

Al-Nassr's win means they remain unbeaten in the West region of this season's AFC Champions League Elite and need just two points from their final three games to reach the last eight.

It's back to domestic action for Ronaldo and Al-Nassr, though. They host Damac in the Saudi Pro League on Friday as they look to close the gap to league leaders Al-Ittihad.
