'Clickbait!' - Viktor Gyokeres responds to transfer talk as in-demand Sporting striker drops hint over his future amid interest from Arsenal, Chelsea & Man Utd
Gyokeres has consistently been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea all touted as potential suitors for the prolific Sweden international. He ended the season with 39 goals in 33 games in the league, as well as six goals in eight games in the Champions League.
Gyokeres told Vogue Scandinavia: "Clickbait. These days, there's sports news 24 hours a day. They come up with topics to keep the cycle going."
He also dropped a potential hint about his future by claiming that he would find it "difficult" to play in a cold country once again after living in Portugal, adding: "In Sweden, people work hard during the week and only socialize on the weekend. Here, it's much livelier during the week. You have dinner with friends and have a glass of wine on Monday. I like that. After living in a hot country, it would be difficult [to return to a colder country]."
