Getty ImagesA Pulisic brace booked a win for the Rossoneri at San Siro, ending a six-match winless streak across all competitions. The U.S. international bagged goals in the 59th and 86th minutes of the match en-route to a 5-1 victory over Cagliari.
Ismael Bennacer opened the scoring in the 35th minute before Pulisic doubled their lead. A small scare, Cagliari countered Pulisic's strike with a goal of their own in the 63rd minute, however, Milan were just too good to allow a comeback.
Tijani Reijnders' 74th minute screamer from outside the box handed them a two-goal advantage and it was followed by an 82nd minute goal from Rafael Leao. Pulisic's dagger then arrived.
Pulisic bagged his 11th and 12th goals of the Serie A season, and now has 15 goals across all competitions. The USMNT star is the first Milan midfielder since Ricardo Kaka in 2006 to score more than 10 goals, excluding penalties, in a single Serie A season now.
Getty ImagesAn in-form Pulisic is a massive, massive win for the USMNT heading into the Copa America this summer. His influence to Gregg Berhalter's squad knows no bounds, and having him continue to produce at club level as the season winds down is a brilliant thing for the USMNT.
Musah, meanwhile, is getting regular minutes again finally - something that could prove to be a big help for the U.S. as there are still relative unknowns around Tyler Adams' fitness levels.
GettyChristian Pulisic (9/10):
He came up clutch when Milan needed him, especially after what was essentially a dreadfully slow first 45 minutes. Two big goals, he's full of confidence ahead of a big, big summer with the USMNT.
Yunus Musah (7/10):
Did exactly what was asked of him, and was rather influential in build-up play extending into the final-third of the pitch. However, he didn't stand out in the mix, like many others on the pitch.
GettyThe Rossoneri will take on Torino next weekend before wrapping up the season against Salernitana. Pulisic, meanwhile, will look to continue his hot scoring form during this final stretch of matches.
