Amsterdam-born Brian Brobbey rose through the ranks at Ajax during his youth career, progressing through Jong Ajax before making it into the first team.
He later moved to RB Leipzig in Germany ahead of the 2021-22 season, a move that ultimately didn’t work out as expected for the young striker. He returned to his hometown club on loan, and after impressing with a flurry of goals and strong performances, Ajax permanently signed him in 2022 on a five-year contract.
Now the focal point of Ajax’s attack, Brobbey is well-compensated for his efforts. He currently ranks among the highest-paid players at both the club and in the Eredivisie.
