THE BIGGER PICTURE
Per SPORT journalist Toni Juanmarti, the midfielder will be sidelined for at least two months, which more or less confirms that the youngster's season is over. The news comes as a huge blow for Barcelona, who are competing for a treble in the 2024-25 campaign. Casado had established himself as a mainstay in Flick's side, having appeared in 36 matches across all competitions thus far, where he scored one goal and provided six assists.
