Bafana's best player on the night. Williams kept the Atlas Lions at bay in the first half with a series of wonderful saves. However, he was left exposed when the hosts scored after the restart.

Ronwen Williams - 7.5/10

Made a few overlapping runs as he was more concerned with stopping Ilias Chair. Mobbie did well to contain the Moroccan winger, but he lost concentration towards the end of the game - giving Amine Harit space to deliver a cross which was turned home by Ayoub Kaabi.

Khuliso Mudau - 5.5/10

Awful performance by the reigning PSL Defender of the Season. Lakay was tormented by Achraf Hakimi on the night and he never got a chance to push forward. He was also beaten in the air by Romain Saiss whose header was turned home by Youssef En-Nesyri.

Lyle Lakay - 4/10

Deployed at the heart of a three-man defence.&nbsp; Phete made some vital interceptions when the Moroccans were looking to play through passes and make build-ups on the edge of the visitors' box, but he struggled aerially against goalscorers En-Nesyri and El Kaabi.

Thibang Phete - 5.5/10

Played well as the most experienced Bafana centre back.&nbsp; Kekana used his pace well when the hosts were looking to get in behind the visitors' defence. He won most of his aerial and ground duels.&nbsp;

Grant Kekana - 6/10

Struggled on his competitive debut for Bafana. Fielies looked out of sorts against a pacey and creative Atlas Lions attack. He also failed to cover for Lakay at times.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Taariq Fielies - 4.5/10

Started well on his debut for the national team. Sithole played the pass which sent Lyle Foster through on goal and the striker scored. Sithole then struggled in his midfield battle against Sofyane Ambarat who made him chase shadows.

Sphephelo Sithole - 5.5/10

Started slowly playing alongside Sithole midfield.&nbsp; Mosele failed to impose himself on the game and take control as he would have liked in the first half. However, he played much better following the introduction of Phathutshedze Nange and Yusuf Maart.

Goodman Mosele - 5.5/10

Put in an energetic performance. Tau looked to create chances for his teammates and he never stopped running. He had a chance to restore Bafana's lead in the closing stages, but he failed to hit the target before being substituted.

Percy Tau - 5.5/10

Made his first appearance for Bafana since 2019. Lorch couldn't make an impact in a lacklustre Bafana side with the hosts closing him down whenever he was in possession of the ball. He was substituted just after the hour-mark.

Thembinkosi Lorch - 5/10

Had a decent game leading the attack. Foster kept the Moroccan defence busy with physicality and deadly runs which saw him break the deadlock. He was substituted while looking tired in the 62nd minute.&nbsp;

Lyle Foster - 7/10

Brought some needed energy and creativity to the Bafana midfield when he came on in the 62nd minute,&nbsp;but&nbsp;he gave away possession in the build-up to Morocco's winning goal.

Yusuf Maart - 5.5/10

Brought some stability to the Bafna midfield as he won back possession and played a few forward passes having been introduced in the 62nd minute.

Phathutshedzo Nange - 6/10

Too late to warrant a rating as he was introduced in the 89th minute.

Couldn't make an impact as he was introduced in stoppage time.
