Arsenal to get rid of ex-Man City duo? Gabriel Jesus & Oleksandr Zinchenko may be sold in JANUARY as Mikel Arteta's 'ideal' signing revealed

Arsenal are aiming to be active in January as they bid to recruit a new centre-forward, The Athletic reports. The club are interested in signing Isak, who has been deemed Arteta's ideal target, although there are significant obstacles to any deal, namely his huge asking price. If the Gunners are to do business, they may have to move players on.

Former Manchester City duo Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko are both deemed expendable as a result. Jesus has only scored once this season, in Arsenal's 3-0 win over Preston in the Carabao Cup, while Zinchenko has only made a solitary Premier League start, with Riccardo Calafiori establishing himself as Arteta's first-choice left-back. Jakub Kiwior could also be sold.

Arsenal paid £45 million ($57m) to sign Jesus from City, while they secured Zinchenko in a £32m ($40m) deal. They are unlikely to make a profit on either player, and it remains to be seen what asking price they will place on the pair.

Arsenal face West Ham in a huge London derby this weekend before facing Manchester United. They are currently fourth in the Premier League table.
