    WHAT TIMBER SAID

Speaking to the media, Timber said, "I think everyone can see the potential Max has. Playing against grown men like this is incredible. It's a joy to watch, for me it's a joy to watch. I hope he's going to have some amazing years with us.

"You have to look at the good things. He did well. You have to think about the things he didn't do so well. We have to make sure we're ready at Anfield."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Dowman’s debut puts him behind only Ethan Nwaneri in Arsenal’s history books as the youngest player to feature for the Gunners. With senior stars also stepping up, Arsenal appear to be blending experience and youth to devastating effect.
