According to The Sun, Onana saw his luxury vehicle pulled over by police in Hale Barns while one of his friends was taking it for a spin. The car was flagged as being uninsured on an ANPR and was quickly loaded onto the back of a truck.
THE GOSSIP
Onana now faces the threat of losing his lavish Lamborghini Urus. He has 14 days in which to insure the supercar and collect it from the pound before it is either auctioned off or crushed. Onana was able to put the incident to the back of his mind when taking to the field for United in their Europa League clash with Athletic Club - with a 4-1 victory in the second leg of that contest booking a final showdown with Premier League rivals Tottenham.
WHAT NEXT?
Onana is not the first United player to experience car troubles during their time at Old Trafford, with World Cup winner Paul Pogba seeing his £300,000 Rolls-Royce Wraith seized in 2021 as it had Monaco-registered plates - with that misdemeanour landing the Frenchman three points and a £220 fine.
