    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The news will be a boost for Lehmann as the two fixtures come just weeks before Switzerland host Euro 2025. The Swiss side badly need points in the two upcoming fixtures to avoid relegation and players will also know they are likely playing for their places in manager Sundhage's final squad for the European Championship. Switzerland's games are Sundhage's last chance to finalise her squad before the summer tournament.

  • WHAT LEHMANN SAID

Lehmann celebrated her international recall with a post on social media where she showed off some pictures from a training session.
